Torque Automotive Engineering was born out of Andy Chapman Classics amd Chapman Spooner.
In 2003 due to health problems Andy Chapman handed over his business to long-time colleague Nic Joberns.

Nic and Andy had worked together for over 25 years, repairing and restoring Astons and Nic's skills and expertise in the workshop coupled with his specialist knowledge of race and rally preparation had always enhanced the services offered by the business.
Nic continued the Chapman philosophy of quality workmanship.
The name was changed to Torque Automotive Engineering, improvements made to the workshop, parts and stock departments - but the core elements of the business remain.
